Policy Statements

As part of the transition process to the LSU System, LSU NewOrleans is reviewing and revising all campus policies. Prior to July 1, 2026,the term for campus level policy was Administrative Policy (AP). The new termfor campus level policy is Policy Statement (PS). During the current year, ourcampus is replacing all existing Administrative Policies with new campus Policystatements. The campus is operating under a combination of both AdministrativePolicy and Policy Statements during the transition year. In cases where anAdministrative Policy has been replaced, a link is provided to the new PolicyStatement. In some cases, a Policy Statement (PS) does not correlate with anexisting Administrative Policy (AP).
