Dr. Abdullah Al Redwan Newaz is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of New Orleans. Earlier, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at North Carolina A&T State, Greensboro, NC in 2020-2022, Rice University, Houston, TX 2018-2020, and Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan in 2017-2018.

Research Interests
My research interests lie in the areas of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Cyber-Physical Systems. Particularly, my research interests include autonomous systems, applied machine learning, motion planning under uncertainty, optimal control, deep learning-based perception methods, model checking, and related domains.
