About
Dr. Han Chen is an Associate Professor in the Lester E. Kabacoff School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Administration at the University of New Orleans. She graduated with a Ph.D. in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Auburn University. Dr. Chen teaches hospitality revenue management, research methods, tourism & hospitality marketing, and hotel operations. She is an Authorized Instructor of the Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA).
Dr. Chen researches hospitality human resources management and organizational behavior, international hospitality management, and hospitality consumer behaviors. She has won four best paper awards at conferences including ICHRIE and SECSA. Her research work has been published in journals such as the International Journal of Hospitality Management and the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management.
