About

Professor Foster-Martinez leads the Coastal Interactions Lab, whose goal is to promote sustainability through improved interactions between natural coastal processes and human infrastructure. She conducts applied, solutions-oriented research through fieldwork and modeling. As a New Orleans native, her passion for all things Louisiana greatly influences her research.
