Overview
The certificate covers the fundamentals of data science. Math majors can complete it alongside their degree, since many requirements overlap. Students in other majors can join once they meet the prerequisites.
Graduates work in fields such as technology, finance, marketing analysis, health care, pharmaceuticals and insurance. Some continue to graduate study in mathematics or statistics.
