Insurance

Coverage is provided on a 24-hour basis for the duration of travel, commencing from the time of leaving one's home address until returning back to one's home address at the conclusion of the covered trip.

If participants wish to purchase additional coverage for travel outside the program dates for more than two weeks before or after the program, they can visit the OnCall International website to explore all the coverage options and contact them by e-mailing [email protected].

There are some services that are included in the insurance plan that participants can utilize while abroad by contacting On Call International 24/7:

• Emergency Medical and Repatriation
• Book a doctor's appointment
• General travel questions

You can find more details on these insurance provided services and contacts in the insurance brochure. 

During the program, you may find the need to use the health insurance plan. The Zurich Travel Assist provider, On Call International, can help you locate health care providers in your abroad location. You can email [email protected] to start the claim process to have the insurance make payments for your medical expenses. When starting your claim, provide your name, location, program dates, and date of birth. 

In the event you paid out of pocket for a medical claim and are seeking reimbursement for that medical claim:

Please email your completed claim form as well as copies of all doctors' bills and proof of payment (receipts) to [email protected] and the Gallagher Global Risk Team will assist with all reimbursement claims to ensure timely reimbursement to travelers.

You will have 90 days to make the claim after the medical visit/treatment. Reimbursements may be received after about 30 days. You can refer to the travel insurance card you will be provided for more instructions.
