Applicants without an undergraduate degree in Engineering
If the undergraduate degree is not in Civil Engineering or related field, the student will have to take foundation courses before he/she can be admitted as a degree seeking student in the Civil and Environmental Engineering program. Graduate Certificate in Coastal Engineering
The CEE department at LSU New Orleans also offers a graduate level certificate (Graduate Certificate in Coastal Engineering). The coastal certificate courses can be used towards the MS in Engineering degree.
