AI Across the Enterprise: What AI Means for Your Business and Profession will bring students, alumni, business professionals and members of the Greater New Orleans community together to hear from executives and industry leaders about the evolving role of AI in six areas: marketing, accounting, finance, sales, healthcare operations, and human resources.
Hosted by the College’s MBA and Executive MBA Programs, the series will move beyond broad conversations about artificial intelligence to examine how emerging technologies are affecting specific professions and the skills needed in today’s workforce. Each session will be followed by a reception and networking opportunity, giving students and attendees the chance to connect with speakers and professionals from participating organizations.
“Artificial intelligence is transforming virtually every area of business, but its applications and implications can look very different across professions,” said Elyria Kemp, Ph.D., professor of marketing at LSU New Orleans and curator of the series. “AI Across the Enterprise gives our students and the broader business community an opportunity to hear directly from professionals who are navigating these changes. The series also creates opportunities for our students to engage and network with members of the professional community.”
All sessions will begin at 6 p.m. in Kirschman Hall in the Henry Bernstein College of Business Administration at LSU New Orleans. The events are free and open to students, alumni, business professionals and members of the Greater New Orleans community. Registration is requested.
