Recently appointed as Quartet-in-Residence at the University of New Orleans, the Lott Quartet will close out the fall series on Dec. 7.
The University of New Orleans’ School of the Arts is bringing musical performances from acclaimed classical artists from around the world as part of its Musical Excursions series, which is celebrating 25 years.
The fall season debuted Sept. 21 with Mahmoud Chouki, a Moroccan master guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and educator currently living and working in New Orleans. The next performance is Sept. 29.
Each performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center’s Recital Hall. Admission is free for all UNO students, faculty and staff with proper ID. General admission is $15, with $10 tickets available for seniors and University of New Orleans alumni.
