Costs

Though airfares and LSU New Orleans summer tuition rates are subject to change, you should expect to pay the following for Summer 2026:

• Room & Board ($405.00)
• Ground Transportation/Field Trips ($150.00)
• LSU New Orleans Summer tuition for 3 credits (c. $1046.00 for 2024, subject to change in 2026)
• Airfare to Guatemala (varies, typically $500.00-$1000.00)
• Spending money (varies by student, we recommend travelling with at least $500.00)

SCHOLARSHIPS

Study Abroad Scholarships are available for students who are admitted to LSU New Orleans-Guatemala program. Students are encouraged to apply for a scholarship when they apply for the program.
