ACCOUNTING TUTORS

Students have several tutoring options for accounting courses. Beta Alpha Psi, the accounting honors student organization, offers peer tutoring provided by its members. The Department of Accounting also provides tutoring through its Graduate Assistant. Beginning in Fall 2026, the Henry Bernstein College of Business Administration will offer additional tutoring for ACCT 2100 and ACCT 3121. Details for each option are provided below.

 

BETA ALPHA PSI

Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) offers tutoring provided by its members. BAP tutors in Kirshman Hall, room 461, and virtually via Zoom. You can find more information on their webpage.

 

ACCOUNTING GRADUATE ASSISTANTS

LSU New Orleans Department of Accounting has a Graduate Assistant who tutors. She is generally available on Mondays (11am-5pm), Tuesdays (11am-2pm), Wednesdays (11am-5pm), & Thursdays (11am-4pm). She tutors in Kirshman Hall, room 478, and virtually via Teams. You can contact her ([email protected]) to ask about drop-in availability or to make an appointment.

 

COMING SOON… COLLEGE TUTORING FOR ACCT 2100 AND ACCT 3121

The Henry Bernstein College of Business Administration will offer additional tutoring for select business courses, including ACCT 2100 - Principles of Accounting and ACCT 3121 - Intermediate Accounting I. Tutoring will be available in Kirschman Hall, room 308. Additional information, including the tutoring schedule and contact information, will be posted here once the program launches.
