Administrative Units Assessment Plan

The unit assessment process is an annual cycle through which all administrative and service units review their mission and develop, implement, and report their expected outcomes, assessment measures, results, and planned improvements based on the results.

LSU New Orleans’s unit assessment process includes a review of submitted plans. Each plan is reviewed by the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Research (OIER) using a common rubric. Feedback is returned to each unit and this review process provides a mechanism through which individual units can improve their assessment efforts and ensures that the assessment activities are consistent with best practices.
