The following forms are offered through the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership. All the forms can be submitted electronically using the links below. In order to host an event, chalk, put up large signs on-campus or promote in the windows at the University Center desk an organization must be registered with SIL. Additionally, only registered organizations will have access to the equipment that is available for check out through the SIL office.
All spaces are now reserved through campus booking.
Complete the Space Request Form
All organizations on campus are required to submit an organization registration form at the beginning of each school year. Submission of this form is necessary for an organization to be recognized as an official student organization at LSU New Orleans and allows them to gain access to the services offered through SIL.
Every student organization is required to have a constitution. New student organizations will need to submit their constitution before they can be considered an official registered organization. Organizations continuing from previous years who already have constitutions on file will not need to re-submit these constitutions for re-registration. This example constitution can be used as a model while creating a new constitution.
If there is a change of an officer anytime throughout the school year, please fill out this form to update SIL of the new positions.
If you are hosting an event online for your registered student organization (RSO) and would like it to be added to the University calendar at calendar.uno.edu, please take a moment to complete this form one week in advance.
Submit your event to the calendar
In order to host an event on campus, a student organization must turn in this event registration form for approval. Remember: A student organization must be registered with the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership to host events on campus.
The Office of Student Involvement and Leadership offers equipment for student organizations to use for on-campus events. If an organization is interested in checking out equipment through SIL, they must complete the organization check-out form and return it to the office at least one week prior to the event.
If an organization needs equipment from facilities services (e.g., tables, chairs), SIL will submit the equipment request form to ABM on your behalf. (SIL does not deliver tables or chairs, nor do we store them.)
If you are hosting an event with alcohol, you must have an up-to-date Alcohol Policy Acknowledgement on file with SIL. You should complete this form each semester.
It takes a village to promote events and opportunities on campus! The office of Student Involvement & Leadership is here to help spread your reach on Instagram. There are two options to do so:
1) Tag us in your Instagram posts & we will share to our story, or
2) Complete this form 2 business days in advance for every Instagram post or story you'd like @UNOSIL to share.
If an organization would like to promote by chalking on the sidewalks, they must turn in the chalking registration form to SIL.

The Office of Student Involvement & Leadership reserves the right not to print posters that do not meet the resolution needed to print at poster size or that violate university policy. SIL will not edit image files.
